Tanker 15 responded to Hillside Park (MADISONVILLE) ,Engine 15 was on standby at station for a fire reported in a mobile home. Command canceled our units when the small fire under the trailer was extinguished.

Station 15 and Mutual Aid Structure Box companies responded to West Street (ELMHURST) for a possible structure fire. It was determined to be a microwave fire. Situation was controlled by first unit on scene. All units returned to service.

Chief 15 responded to Old State Road for a residence with a foot of water in the basement. Sump pump was placed into service for the homeowner.

Engine 15 responded with a crew of 6 to Jubilee Road (MADISONVILLE) for a Chimney Fire.

Engine and Tanker 15 responded to Rte 307 (SPRINGBROOK) for a report of smoke coming from the roof. Upon arrival, units worked a chimney fire spread to the roof decking. Tanker 15 provided water supply to Engine 53, Engine crew assisted at structure operations.

Station 15 was dispatched to Jonslea Lane (ROARING BROOK) for an activated residential fire alarm. Chief 15 arrived and confirmed an accidental alarm caused by cooking. All units were placed back in service.


#25     Feb 10     19:34          Fire

Engine & Rescue 15 responded to Rte 435/Elmhurst Reservoir area (ELMHURST) for a possible brush fire. Investigation found ATV riders who had a campfire to dry their wet clothes. Chief and crew assisted the ATV riders and then extinguished the fire.

CH 15-2 on scene reported a one vehicle Motor Vehicle vs. Telephone Pole with no injuries, no need for fire apparatus. PSP and tow operator arrived and handled scene.

#21     Feb 10     10:27          Open Burn

Engine & Rescue 15 responded to the area of Rte 435/Elmhurst Reservoir (ELMHURST) for a report of a possible brush fire.  Investigation found a small group of ATV riders with a campfire to dry their clothes before continuing their ride. After assisting them, the fire was extinguished.

Engine 15 was dispatched, then canceled, for an activated residential fire alarm on Sunrise Blvd (MOSCOW). Contractor dust at scene caused alarm activation.

#16     Jan 28     09:29          Motor Vehicle Accident-Bus

Rescue 15 responded to Interstate 84S for a charter bus accident with entrapment. R15 crew arrived to find a truck tire had crashed through the bus windshield and caused the driver to be pinned by the steering wheel and front end damage. Hydraulic tools were deployed to extricate the driver. Rescue 7, Penn 5 and FP22 assisted on scene.

Station 15 was responded for an activated residential fire alarm on Devonshire Drive (ROARING BROOK). Chief 15 arrived and investigated. Homeowner reported there had been issues with the alarm recently. All units returned to service.

Tanker 15 was dispatched to the WB Scranton Int. Airport (Moosic) for an inbound plane with problems. Command had all units hold...plane reported on the ground, assessing the situation. All units returned to service.

Engine 15 was dispatched for an Activated Fire Alarm on Main Street (MOSCOW). Comm Center reported proper passcode received for an accidental alarm. E15 returned to service

#32     Feb 18      12:19          Motor Vehicle Accident

Rescue 15 responded to Interstate 84 6W (ROARINGBROOK) for a Logging Truck rollover with load spilled on the highway. All Westbound lanes blocked. Rescue crew worked with Rescue 29-Jefferson on containing a fuel leak, scene safety.

Engine 15 was dispatched for an activated fire alarm at the Liberty Travel Plaza (JEFFERSON). Command 29 reported smoke from a fryer caused an accidental alarm and returned all units.

Engine and Tanker 15 were placed on standby at our station while Chief 7 investigated an alarm on Church Street (MOSCOW). Determined to be an accidental alarm, all units returned to service.

Engine 15 was dispatched for an activated fire alarm at the Jefferson Elementary Center (Jefferson). Comm Center reported proper passcode received for an accidental alarm. E15 returned to service.

Station 15 crew responded to Donny Drive (ROARING BROOK) to assist EMS 7 with a lift assist. Crew helped with patient packaging and transfer to the ambulance.

#15     Jan 26     19:00          Mutual Aid-Structure Fire

Engine & Tanker 15 responded to Lake Drive, Big Bass Lake (GOULDSBORO) for a working structure fire. E15 was assigned to operation on the rear side of the building. T15 provided water supply.

Engine 15 responded to Academy Street (MOSCOW) for an activated fire alarm. Command 7 investigated and determined it was a cooking incident. Our Engine was returned to our station on standby, then released,  while 7 crew ventilated.

Rescue 15 responded to Willow Street (MOSCOW) for a two car crash. While enroute, R15 was diverted to a tractor trailer rollover on the Interstate

Rescue 15 was dispatched to Interstate 84E (JEFFERSON) to assist at a vehicle into the woods. Command 29 requested R15 to standby at our station and later placed back into service.

Rescue 15 responded to Rte 435S for a one car rollover. Port. 15-7 reported 1 patient self-extricated. R15 provided scene safety.

Rescue 15 responded to Rte. 307 (ROARING BROOK) for a one vehicle MVA into the woods. R15 crew established scene safety until towing company and State Police took over scene.

Engine & Tanker 15 were dispatched to Evergreen Drive (SPRINGBROOK) for an activated residential fire alarm. Command 53 reported a false activation and returned all units to service.

Rescue 15 responded to Route 590 (ROARING BROOK) in very snowy conditions for a one vehicle accident. Rescue crew set up a safety zone and traffic control.

Station 15 was dispatched to St. Gregory's Academy...Griffin Road (ELMHURST) for an activated alarm. Chief 15 arrived and determined it was dust from a limestone grinding project in the building. All responding units were canceled.

Engine and Tanker 15, with 7-9 & Tanker 7 responded to West Street (ELMHURST) for a keypad activation of a residential alarm system. Units arrived to find an accidental trip caused by contractor work on scene.

Rescue 15 responded to a one vehicle crash on Rte 307 (ROARING BROOK). Rescue crew established safety zone for EMS/Towing operations.
